托福对找工作有用么作为英语水平的参考，对找工作作用不是很大，雅思托福的有效期都是2年，托福是对非英语国家的人进行的英语水平的测试，考查其英语水平是否达到在英语国家留学、工作和生活的标准。主要用于出国，也可作为求职参考，不过介于考试费用较高，选择的人不多，而且考查侧重于生活常识和在英语环境生存的应用，涉及专业领域的东西不多，如果是在国内做涉及英语的工作建议考BEC商务英语或翻译证等专业领域的英语考试会更具参考价值。托福指向性为留美学生，因而学术作用更大，这也体现在它的听力都是校园学习与生活，而非工作场景。
